Friends Groups

Friends groups are organizations that help to raise funds for a library. This can be through grants, fundraisers, book sales, or other activities. We have two Friends groups that support the Bonneville County Library District, you can learn more about them below:

Friends Assisting Bonneville Libraries (FABL) is a group of dedicated volunteers who work to promote our library district and its amazing services and programs. They host an annual flashlight Easter Egg Scramble fundraiser for adults a week or two before Easter. For news and to request information on how to help them serve our libraries please visit their website at IdahoFABL.org or their Facebook page.

Friends of the Iona Library (FOIL) is a devoted volunteer group that has been pivotal in assisting the Iona library for decades. They run a weekly story time, have a summer reading program and writing contests, sponsor an annual fundraiser called the Daddy-Daughter Princess Party, and deliver books to the homebound. They run a continual library book sale, giving all proceeds back to the Iona Library. Please visit their Facebook page for more news and events.
