Summer Reading Rules
- Every participant must have a BCLD library card.
- Prizes are awarded based on your registered age group; must bring log to obtain prizes.
- You can catch up if you miss a week.
- You must read 20 minutes a day for a minimum of 5 days a week. Track minutes using the reading log to be eligible for that week’s prize/ticket.
- All reading must be done at your current reading level.
- Prizes may be exchanged for one ticket into the drawing for all age groups excluding the Hatchlings (0-5 years old). All prizes or tickets must be claimed by August 8th. Gift Card drawings will take place on August 17th. All cards need to be claimed by August 31st. All tickets must have first and last name and last 5 digits of library card to be eligible for entry.
- If you have book fines/overdue books you will not be able to collect rewards.
- Some rewards are only available while supplies last.
